Secret Sessions is proud to announce the new venue for the Festival is Landcruiser Mountain Park, Jimna, 2 hours North West of Brisbane. Unfortunately the event will not be held at Numinbah Valley this year so please follow the new directions to the site carefully and advise any of your friends of the site change if they are not already aware.

 

Landcruiser Mountain Park is fully equipped with fantastic amenities including flushing toilets, hot showers, ample camping area, an amphitheatre main stage and loads of space.  We can't wait to see you on the dancefloor!!!

 

Please respect the land owners, who have been kind enough to allow us onto their land. 

Follow all rules and guidelines layed out below as well as the instructions on the signage at Secret Sessions. Secret Sessions is an all ages event that welcomes families and community involvement. We encourage car pooling and safe and respectful behaviour so please be sure to look out for your friends and family. Full toilet facilities, first aid and 24hour friendly security will be available onsite.

 

 

Camping is included in the event ticket price from Friday afternoon to Monday morning (at the very latest). The event layout will be clearly signed and all patrons are expected to only use the areas that have been provided to them. To reduce automobile movement during the event a short term and overnight car park will also be provided.

 

Respect the land and its wildlife and please use rubbish bins at your own campsite and throughout the event grounds. If you are unable to take your rubbish home with you please be considerate and place them in the bins provided before your departure. Please keep glass to a minimum.

 

While visiting the Australian outdoors you should come well prepared. You’ll need plenty of water, camping gear, shade, torch, hat, rubbish bags, money, sunscreen and other creature comforts. Don’t forget to bring with you plenty of smiles and positive intentions.

 

Anti-social or violent behaviour will not be tolerated and will be dealt with by security and taken up with the police.

• Head North along the Pacific Highway and take the Gateway Motorway exit at Underwood.

• Follow the Gateway Motorway for approx. 40km and take a slight left at Gympie Arterial Road. This road then becomes the Bruce Highway.

• Follow Directions from Brisbane below.

 

• Head North along the Bruce Highway and take the Kilcoy exit onto the D’Aguilar Highway. Follow the signs towards Kilcoy.

• Once in the town of Kilcoy, drive until you get to a roundabout and take a right at this roundabout onto Kennedy Dr, click your odometer here. This then becomes Kilcoy-Mugon rd. Follow the signs towards Jimna

• Drive past the Jimna turnoff and continue on towards Murgon. After driving appox. 40km from the roundabout you will hit a dirt rd.

• Follow this dirt rd for appox. 18km till you see the Landcruiser Mountain Park sign on your left, turn left here. Please note, drive very slowly and carefully once you enter the park as the road is bumpy, no faster than 10-20kmph.

 

• Head South towards Brisbane on the Bruce Highway.

• Take the Landsborough/Glass House Mountain Tourist Drive - Steve Irwin Way exit on the left (this exit loops back over the Bruce Highway to get you onto Steve Irwin Way)

• Follow Steve Irwin Way for approx. 15km.

• Take a right at Mawhinney St, drive over the train tracks and turn right at Simpson St at the T intersection. Then take the first left onto Peachester Rd and travel for approx. 16km

• Veer left onto Kilcoy-Beerwah Rd, follow till the end and take a right onto the D’Aguilar Highway.

• Once in the town of Kilcoy, drive until you get to a roundabout and take a right at this roundabout onto Kennedy Dr. This then becomes Kilcoy-Mugon rd. Follow the signs to Jimna.

• Drive past the Jimna turnoff and continue on towards Murgon. After driving appox. 40km from the roundabout you will hit a dirt rd.

• Follow this dirt rd for appox. 18km till you see the Landcruiser Mountain Park sign on your left, turn left here. Please note, drive very slowly and carefully once you enter the park as the road is bumpy, no faster than 10-20kmph.

 

• Head North on the New England Highway towards Yarraman. Follow the Highway for approx. 110km.

• Once in the town of Yarraman, turn right onto the D’Aguilar Highway and follow for approx. 64km until you get to Kilcoy.

• Once in the town of Kilcoy, you will need to veer left to stay on the D’Aguilar Highway and turn left at the T intersection onto William St.

• Take a right at the roundabout onto Kennedy Dr. This then becomes Kilcoy-Mugon rd. Follow the signs towards Jimna.

• Drive past the Jimna turnoff and continue on towards Murgon. After driving appox. 40km from the roundabout you will hit a dirt rd.

• Follow this dirt rd for appox. 18km till you see the Landcruiser Mountain Park sign on your left, turn left here. Please note, drive very slowly and carefully once you enter the park as the road is bumpy, no faster than 10-20kmph.

 

• Head North along the Cunningham Highway for approx. 37kms.

• Veer left onto Ipswich Rosewood Rd and then veer right onto Haigslea Amberbley Rd and continue on this road straight through the roundabout in Walloon.

• After approx. 5kms from the roundabout, turn right onto the Warrego Highway

• After approx. 4km turn left onto the Brisbane Valley Highway. Follow this Highway for appox. 90km. Turn right onto the D’Aguilar Highway just after the town of Harlin.

• Follow the D’Aguilar Highway until you get to Kilcoy.

• Once in the town of Kilcoy, you will need to veer left to stay on the D’Aguilar Highway and turn left at the T intersection onto William St.

• Take a right at the roundabout onto Kennedy Dr. This then becomes Kilcoy-Mugon rd. Follow the signs towards Jimna.
