Daheen / Sydney
The Daheen psytrance experience is something to behold. He has aimed to create a distinctive style, fusing sounds & melodies to tell a story or convey a concept, as well as provide a stomping good dance. He incorporates many samples from the real world, especially animal sounds as seen in his popular track ‘Jungle Juice’ released on EPP Records in 04. His unique live set has to be seen to be believed, providing a visual theatrical element which believe it or not features animals playing guitar! Incorporating different masks & costumes to go with each differently themed track, the Daheen live psy set is extremely entertaining, comical, bizarre, & a great dance. Daheen has been showcasing his live performance up & down the east coast of Australia as well as recent performances in the UK & on the European festival circuit. Recent releases include 'Direct flight' - a track with Psyboriginal on his album "Unleashed", & 'Regrowth' - from the debut Regen Records compilation "Tree Dimensional". Stay tuned for the Daheen full length psytrance album coming soon.

Fungalicious
Constant exposure to music of many styles has provided a certain moulding for Fungalicious’ current tastes in electronic music. Experience in classical piano training at a young age developed a specific taste for well written melodies and emotive musical structure. After first being exposed to the electronic structure in her early teens, she discovered that the electronic musical entity, unlike an acoustic ensemble of limited instruments, is somewhat unlimited; caged only by the imagination of the artist. After being involved in many electronic music scenes for a number of years, there evolved an inspiration to take control and become a part of the music delivery. Thus 'fungalicious' was born. Enjoying musical entities for what they are, fungalicious is not one to place limitations by only delivering a certain 'genre'. Quite simply aspiring to deliver something a little different that people weren't necessarily able to access in their certain listening circles.

Circuit Bent / Melbourne
Eli & Jesse were manufactured inside the bowels of a top secret laboratory for the purpose of being super soldiers hell bent on world domination. After the mad scientists realized the true nature of the monsters they had created they tried to destroy the foul creatures they had spawned but were overwhelmed by sonic insanity & bled to death from their ears. To this day the location of Eli & Jess is unknown, but their presence on the internet is evidence that the world is still not safe from the global menace lurking around the corner.

Stuart Wild
The Stuart Wild sound broadly ranges from deep organic progressive, electro breaks, funky minimal tech, tribal techno, or even as low as downbeat chamber ambience. This range equips Stuart to tailor every live set to suit its time and place. The space is created incorporating time as it's key - drawing from mathematics, life, the universe and everything, arrayed into ancient yet new rhythmic geometry. Over the past 6 years, Stuart has raised many-a-roof down the eastern coast, and has been found in line-ups alongside acts such as Hallucinogen, Shpongle, Artifakt, Krumelur, Loopus In Fabula, Commercial Hippies, CPU, FREq, Kindzadza, Phony Orphants, Raja Ram, DJ Krush, Dark Nebula, Sensient, Sun Control Species, Jeremy Caulfield and Mark Henning - to name a few. Stuart is currently locked away recording an album for his new project, an electronic rock band, and is breaking his hiatus from dance music to play at this year’s Secret Sessions!

Scott Walker
Scott’s mission since first stepping up to the decks nine years ago has always been to deliver quality music to the masses, and his versatility is the most valuable weapon in his arsenal. In the past he pushed his passion for progressive and tribal rhythms, and tech-funk flavoured breaks, and is now focussing his passion for deep house, tech-house, and the more melodic strains of minimal. That's not to say he can't still smash out a peak time set of main room tech though. Scott's ability to blend such diverse elements together ensures that every set is a smooth ride no matter how wide the musical spectrum. His technical skills perfectly complement his superb track selection, with Scott fully exploring the possibilities of the DJ set-up without ever over-doing it. By utilising his preferred setup of two turntables, three CDJs and a Pioneer 800 mixer, he is able to elevate his DJ sets to another level through the use of acapellas, loops, FX and bonus beats. Yet the emphasis, as always, remains on reading the dancefloor, and Scott’s floor filling abilities are without peer.

Operon
Operon has been a pillar of the drum'n'bass community in Brisbane (Australia) for over 6 years now. Alongside partner in crime DJ Erther, Operon was responsible for reviving a dead scene for this UK breakbeat sound in his home town. Lack of exposure to the genre & a poor selection of events compelled Operon to start his own parties which led on to the seminal Brisbane clubbing event 'Rude Bwoyz Monthly'. This dnb institution ran consecutively each and every month for over 5 years making Rude Bwoyz the longest running independent club event in Brisbane's history!

Rybery
Originally Hailing from Northern N.S.W, Dion has been involved in the outdoor music scene for over a decade, playing a range of different styles under a range of different monikers before settling into the funky, flatulent, genre free sound Rybery is known for. With his sets being described as everything from wobble-worthy mullet funk to full cream fudgestep, Rybery likes to inhabit a quirky soundspace where the ground is squelchy underfoot. Having performed at festivals such as Splendour In The Grass, Quantum Relic, Earthcore, Exodus and Earthdance, Rybery has been involved with multiple record labels before settling into the role of label DJ and co-owner or Disconekta records. Expect a cheeky but very dance-able experience with lots of surprises!

Chunky Cub / Bear
Bear is the owner and director of Bear Essential Promotions. Bear started his events promotion business in 2002 and with his hire equipment at the ready decided it was also time to take up dj’ing. After a few years of this Bear was introduced to the outdoor scene and Psy Trance and has not looked back since this introduction.
Typically known for his night time and transitional sets, Bear is sure to get the party started and is often heard playing styles of Minimal / Tech under his pseudonym of Chunky Cub. In the last few years Bear has played at most major events in SE Qld, Secret Sessions, Earth Freq, Quantum Relic, Earthdance, Winter Solstice, Summer Solstice, Earthcore, Ql Particles of space (Melb), 777 (NNSW), Infected Mushroom and an abundance of other smaller parties in between.

Angus Gibbins
Trance fans are a notoriously passionate bunch with none more passionate than Angus Gibbins. While most children of the 90's would have been chuffed if their parents were cool enough to be into Hendrix, Zeppelin and Floyd, Angus’ father brought him up on a steady diet of Sasha, Digweed and Global Underground compilations. With this upbringing it’s hardly surprising that he eats, breathes and sleeps hands-in-the-air synth melodies. It's the pure emotion of trance that captured Angus in his early days of dance music appreciation and it quickly became an obsession which drives him to this day. Deep, melodic and progressive, uplifting reach-for-the-lasers specials, or dark and dirty driving tech monsters – Angus’ ability to move through these sounds over the course of a set have seen him rise through the ranks of Brisbane DJ's since his move from the Sunshine Coast in 2005.

Friends & Enemiez
As hardstyle & hard dance continues to throttle Queensland dancefloors, Brisbane based hardstyle act F&E aka Friends & Enemiez are creating international waves with worldwide releases of their productions. With a mix hosted on Q-dance Radio, Friends & Enemiez’ Habitual p_l & Dirty B then went on to impress Screamer Hardstyle Recordz, with the Netherland’s based record label immediately signing this heavy weight act. With plenty of releases in the production line and remixes from Sydney’s Audio Damage & German act Coastguard on the burner, it looks as though Friends & Enemiez will be the Brisbane act to look out for.

Blunt Instrument
The production style of Blunt Instrument began as sample based instrumental hip hop, drawing inspiration from pioneers like DJ Food and the ubiquitous DJ Shadow, along with artists from the classic mid 90’s era of rap like A Tribe Called Quest, Nas, Jungle Brothers and so many others. Like any good music addiction, a desire for more has pushed Blunt Instrument forward in new directions, searching the most innovative production techniques, the freshest beats, the most unique sounds and the heaviest bass – Amon Tobin, Tipper, Bassnectar and a sound called glitch-hop was their new destination of choice. To define the Blunt Instrument sound isn’t easy but try and picture this; Decades of music broken into tiny fragments, sharp shards of noise heaped together to create a distorted reflection of the original – Smash a disco ball with a Blunt Instrument and listen to the result.
